A lot of people don’t know or trust what organic means. I get that, – there has been a good deal of controversy around it. What I’ve discovered is that when food is indeed organic, it provides anywhere from 1/3 to 2/3 more anti-oxidants than conventional produce. It also isn’t grown with any of the 865 pesticides used to grow conventional produce that have been linked to many serious diseases. Also, organic farming uses less energy, less water and no toxic chemicals.
I think it’s worth the chance. Try this weeks menu, as organic as possible.
